Tempo Meet Up

Tempo Meet Up is a talent program that combines group discussions about individual projects with seminars, masterclasses, speed dating, and film screenings in a tailored program over a few intense days during the festival in March.

With Tempo Meet Up, we aim to empower emerging documentary filmmakers operating throughout Sweden. Our regional partners nominate participants from their respective regions to join and engage in the program.

Here, talents with diverse backgrounds come together, offering a unique opportunity to connect with the established industry and develop their projects alongside others in similar situations. Tempo Meet Up provides participants with a chance to, in an intimate setting, encounter a professional industry, meet decision-makers from the documentary sector, and network during both the public and industry-specific segments of the festival.

Tempo Meet Up 2024 is organized with support from the Swedish Film Institute’s talent development initiative nationwide, in collaboration with Region Västmanland, Film på Gotland, Region Uppsala, Region Gävleborg, Region Värmland, Boost Hbg, Filmregion Sydost, Film i Dalarna, Film i Sörmland, Film i Öst, Film Stockholm, Förvaltningen för kulturutveckling/FilmCloud, Kultur i Halland – Film.
