A magical fantasy turns into a nightmare in this humorous and colourful animation, that can be described as a neon-coloured Lord of the Flies.
When five kids create the imaginary world they call “Gösta Petter-land”, a wonderful forest world filled with cute chickens, it starts out as a perfect utopia. There are only two rules: don’t eat chicken and only speak the Gösta Petter language. But the adult world doesn’t seem too entertained by this fantasy, and a division between the children themselves soon arises.
When children’s imagination collides with the norms of the adult world, ordinary situations get turned into absurd humor.
