Thanks to increased support from our contributors and new partners, this year we can raise the prize sums in all our film competitions! We are extremely excited to have partnered with Dagsljus, professional film equipment technology rental created by filmmakers for filmmakers!

The winner of the Tempo Documentary Award, in addition to a prize sum of SEK 75,000, now also receives a technology check from Dagsljus to the value of SEK 50,000! The winner of the Tempo Short Award receives the prize sum of SEK 25,000 and a technology check at Dagsljus worth SEK 10,000! In collaboration with Dagsljus, Tempo wants to honor the films that have been made and at the same time encourage and facilitate filmmakers to continue their filmmaking!

We are also very happy to welcome new regions to the collaboration around Tempo Meet Up and the New Doc competition this year. This enables a price increase from SEK 40,000 to SEK 50,000 for the winning film. And in our international competition Stefan Jarl International Documentary Award, the prize amount is increased from €2,000 to €3,000 thanks to increased support from the Barbro Osher Pro Suecia Foundation.
