In a borderland between love, business, and geopolitics, North South Man Woman portrays encounters between North Korean women and South Korean men. After fleeing to South Korea, Yujin Han runs a matchmaking agency for women who have recently left North Korea. She acts as an advisor and source of support in their new relationships, even as her own family life comes under pressure. A warm and intimate film that follows both the clients of the matchmaking agency and Yujin’s own family life over five years.
