Registration is now open for Tempo Ljudpitch – Sweden’s only audio documentary competition! The audio pitch is organized in collaboration with Swedish Radio.

Sweden has a world-class documentary tradition. The demand for audio documentaries has increased significantly in recent years and new stories and perspectives are sought. Apply to Tempo Ljudpitch and get the chance to develop your idea together with experienced producers at the Swedish Radio documentary editorial offices.

Who can apply?
A strong story can be found in experienced documentary makers as well as in those who have not yet made a documentary. We also encourage active documentary filmmakers who want to try the radio medium to apply. Tempo Audio Pitch is the forum for anyone with a good idea.

Registration:
Fill out the application and attach an audio sample with the documentary’s main character (max 5 min). Send it to ljud@tempofestival.se.

Please note that you cannot compete with the same entry in Tempo Shortdox Radio.

Three selected entries will pitch their idea to a jury on stage during the Audio Industry Day at the Tempo Festival, March 8, 2024. The winning project will receive SEK 10,000 and two half days with a radio documentary producer at Swedish Radio to develop the idea. The hope is that the winning project will become a radio documentary.

Register your audio documentary pitch by 25 January 2024. The three selected entries will be notified in early February and receive further instructions for the pitch.
