Tempo Documentary Festival accepts open submissions for Swedish productions. The submission period typically opens in early September and closes around mid-October. When submissions open, we publish the criteria and entry forms for our three Swedish competitions: Tempo Documentary Award, Tempo Short Award, and New Doc.
We do not have an open submission process for our international program. The curation of our international program is done by the international editor and the artistic director in close collaboration.
Please note: To be eligible for the competitions listed below, the film must have a Swedish main production company.

To be eligible, films must be produced no earlier than April 2025.
