In the Philippines, Wage and Ren’s simple dream of getting married turns into an absurd legal odyssey when Wage discovers that he is still married to his teenage love, a woman he has not seen in 20 years. In the world’s only country where divorce is forbidden, love becomes a struggle against religion, bureaucracy, and a corrupt system that tests both their relationship and their faith.
