Lennart Nilsson’s fetal photographs from 1965 became a global sensation, defining how we view the beginning of life. But behind the world-famous images lies a staged illusion. The film takes a deep dive into the creation of the photographs and how they have been strategically used to shape science, morality, and politics. In an era of AI and deepfakes, this is a visual investigation into the power of images, historical manipulation, and the consequences of what we choose to believe.
