While World War II rages in Europe, renowned architect Josef Frank sits isolated in a small apartment in Stockholm. Tired of designing decorative patterns and receiving letters from friends trapped in Nazi-occupied territories, he turns to writing: novels, plays, detective stories, film scripts, and even operas. In his texts, he transforms into Professor Raymond Gideon, a secret agent on a mission to achieve world peace. Struggle for Peace weaves together the biographical story of Josef Frank with an interpretation of his inner world.
