For nearly seven decades, Siw Malmkvist has been one of Sweden’s most beloved performers. Yet, little is known about who she really is beyond the spotlight—not even to herself. In this intimate documentary, we follow Siw as she prepares to leave her 257-square-meter apartment in Stockholm following the passing of her husband. Amidst the chaos of moving, she finds a box of memories—a childhood photo, an old passport, a ration card from the war years. These are among the few things she chooses to take with her. As Siw embarks on a new chapter, the film reflects on her career, life, and personal archive of images captured through her own camera lens.
