Director Klára Tasovská, whose latest film I’m Not Everything I Want to Be portrays the life of Libuše Jarcovjáková through her photographs and diaries, meets with director Maud Nycander, who has long worked in film and has also depicted the life of a photographer in two films.
Together, they discuss topics such as the relationship between still and moving images and the experience of building a narrative from someone else’s written words.
