Pegasus

Right now, somewhere over the Atlantic, a cargo plane carrying horses is in flight. Through narrow corridors and unfamiliar environments, we follow their journey from a luxurious stable in Mexico City, through the roar of a Boeing 747, to Frankfurt’s hidden cargo labyrinth. Moving between the everyday realities of logistics and the myths that resurface along the way, the film opens up a visual exploration of global infrastructure and the human desire to constantly maximize the dream. The question is: at whose expense?

The project is presented within Tempo Pitch, where seven film projects are pitched in front of an audience and a jury consisting of selected industry experts. The winning project is awarded 90,000 SEK by Film Stockholm, SVT Documentary, and the Swedish Film Institute. New this year, Docs Ireland and DOK Leipzig will present awards to their favorite pitches. The presentations are moderated by Martijn te Pas.
