Palestine Comedy Club

Palestinian comedian Alaa Shehada forms a stand-up comedy group with performers from Golan, Hebron, Ramallah, Jenin, and Haifa. With great effort and even greater humor, they tour Palestine and Israel, where walls and checkpoints affect both travel and audiences. The performance gains significant attention, and the group is invited to London—where their first show coincides with 7 October 2023. The brutal violence and the ensuing war by Israel heighten tensions within the group, and each member copes with the aftermath in their own way.
