In the mid-20th century, some of the world’s greatest jazz musicians — Quincy Jones, Don Cherry, and Dexter Gordon — left major U.S. cities for small-town Sweden. Many settled in Stockholm, starting families while performing in clubs and venues across the country. Here, we meet their children, who share the legacy they inherited. Legacy is a film about music and artistic vision, but also about displacement, racism, and a changing Sweden.
