The megacity of Lagos becomes the stage for this collective exploration of the significance of water. Anything can happen, and thoughts flow freely like an untamed wave. Through split screens, modern dance, and mobile footage, an unexpected collage takes shape—about a boatman, his passengers, and a young boy from Tarkwa Bay Beach who confidently declares: “The waves rule, the sun shines. May the water bless us!”

Note! The screening on March 6 at Tranströmer Library/PUNKT is exclusively for young people aged 13-19. Free entry, no ticket required. After the screening, a short film package curated by Tempo’s youth panel will be shown, featuring The Last Observers, One Day I Will Hug You, Silver City, and The New Policy Regarding Homeless Asylum Seekers.

On March 7 at Aspen, the film will be screened alongside Volcano: What Does a Lake Dream?
