With witchcraft and horror ballads, Helen Adam conquered the San Francisco art scene, the punk movement of the 1970s, and queer Berlin in the 1980s. She created her own dark universe, where she took bloody revenge on patriarchy and industrialism through black magic and poetry. When she died, her works were discarded in a dumpster—only to be unexpectedly rescued. Now, Helen can be resurrected in a film where magic and reality merge.
