In a Saudi Arabia where women were granted the right to drive only six years ago, the divorced Azza works freelance as a driving instructor. Moving effortlessly between tears and laughter, she always has a sharp verbal comeback for the men who challenge her. The film follows her as she navigates a violent ex-husband, the fight for her daughters’ future, and her dream of freedom. When she sets off alone on a road trip through the desert, sleeping in a rickety tent under the moonlight in the middle of nowhere, it is hard not to fall in love with her charm and courage.
