Wishing on a Star

A documentary comedy about our deepest desires. People come to the Neapolitan astrologer Luciana with their wishes—someone wants to find love, another hopes for a baby, and a middle-aged man longs to break free from his mother. Luciana’s method is simple: travel to a specific location on your birthday to be “reborn under a new sky.” And if you can’t afford to travel, you can always pretend. A wonderful and uplifting film filled with unforgettable characters, about searching for answers in the stars and in each other.
