For much of Mai’s childhood, her father was imprisoned in Israeli jails. After spending a decade in Norway, he returns to Gaza, leaving Mai questioning his choices and the impact of their years apart. When he eventually returns to Norway with a collection of letters he wrote while incarcerated, emotional and tentative conversations follow. A father and daughter slowly begin to bridge the distance, confronting the past and the wounds left unhealed.
