Copan

In the heart of São Paulo rises Copan, architect Oscar Niemeyer’s iconic residential complex, where five thousand people share daily life, conflicts, and dreams. When the building holds elections for its next administrator, tensions rise: the incumbent refuses to give up her thirty-year post without a fight. Meanwhile, Brazil’s future is being decided outside the building. Copan is social-realist sci-fi in a Brazilian microcosm, where money, power, and a fragile democracy are constantly at stake.
