Registration for Tempo’s three Swedish competitions, Tempo Documentary Award, Tempo Short Award and New Doc, is now closed.

The films must be produced by April 2023 at the earliest. Rules and application forms can be found below. It is possible to submit the same film to two competitions (e.g. Tempo Documentary Award and New Doc, or Tempo Short Award and New Doc) provided that it meets the criteria of both competitions.

Changes in the Leadership of Tempo Documentary Festival

Tempo Documentary Festival is undergoing a partial leadership change as Ida Thorén has stepped down from her role as festival director. As part of an organizational review, Cecilia Björk will step in as interim festival director until the next edition of the festival.
