The loony-bin!

Forget shame and fear, welcome to The Loony Bin! The Loony Bin! is a documentary based on the director’s diary-notes. The film uses authentic images and text-messages, as well as staged footage where the director reenacts her summer in a psychiatric ward with the help of her brother, psychiatric aides and actors. Far from how these hospitals are usually depicted, The Loony Bin! uses true notes, true conversations, dark humor and warmth to tell stories about the diagnoses that frightens everyone on the outside.

Don’t miss the director Moa Junström‘s visit to the screening on March 12 at Victoria 2!

(Screened together with Livingroom, Shadowlands och The Body is a Lonely Place in TSA block 1)

Tempo tipsar! Emilie Löfgren, redaktör för programtidningen.

I want to tell about my favorite films The Artist and the Thief; an exciting film about how a theft becomes the beginning of an unlikely friendship where they are both forced to face demons from the past. Our Time Machine is a great movie about creative anxiety, a father suffering from dementia who's memories  become increasingly blurred and the director's longing for his own family.
