Gary, Stephen and Steve are single fathers in the old industrial city of Motherwell in Scotland. Through a support group for single fathers, they come in contact with each other. In the group they get the opportunity to talk about their thoughts and feelings and share experiences. From the outside world – and social – they have the pressure to prove their worthiness as single parents, despite a more or less troubled past. But with the influence from their past, do they have the ability to be a good parent?
