I Stop Time

A beautiful summer night changes photographer Vladislav Mikosha’s life. Germany attacks Russia and by setting up the camera as a shield he miraculously survives. He flees from Archangel through the highly dangerous Barents Sea to London and then to New York. In the United States, he gets invited to Hollywood, where he meets film stars such as Ingrid Bergman and Charlie Chaplin. Through his documentary films from the front, he becomes a hero in the film star circles. I Stop Time is a unique testimony of the Second World War based on Vladislav Mikosha’s diary notes and images.

Tempo tipsar! Emilie Löfgren, redaktör för programtidningen.

I want to tell about my favorite films The Artist and the Thief; an exciting film about how a theft becomes the beginning of an unlikely friendship where they are both forced to face demons from the past. Our Time Machine is a great movie about creative anxiety, a father suffering from dementia who's memories  become increasingly blurred and the director's longing for his own family.
