Hotel Kristineberg

In Kristineberg lies an abandoned hotel that the young filmmakers Roxane and Moa often go by. In their own belief that the hotel is empty they take the camera and visit the empty hotel, but it turns out to be a temporary housing for about fifty people. Two of them are Emily and David, and inside the broken windows they get to know each other. When Hotel Kristineberg gets demolished, Emily and David without housing, end up on the street. In this film we to follow into the world of alienation, abuse and dreams of a normal home with potted plants in the windows.

Don’t miss the directors Roxane von Gerber Hedayat and Moa Kjellstrand‘s visit to the screening on March 8 at Victoria 2!

(Screened together with The Family and Procrastination in New Doc block 1)

Tempo tipsar! Emilie Löfgren, redaktör för programtidningen.

I want to tell about my favorite films The Artist and the Thief; an exciting film about how a theft becomes the beginning of an unlikely friendship where they are both forced to face demons from the past. Our Time Machine is a great movie about creative anxiety, a father suffering from dementia who's memories  become increasingly blurred and the director's longing for his own family.
