Apt.+car+all I Have and Own
“I don’t think I’m worth more than Jämtland” says Sanna Clara’s sister one day. “Of course you are, get a grip of yourself” replies Clara. Long afterwards she’s still thinking about that conversation. Perhaps mostly about her answer. As if she knows what it means to be worth more or less than Jämtland. Apt+car+all I Have and Own is a research trip, in which the director wants to talk about the flexibility that is expected in those who grow up in the countryside. It’s a film about evaluating places and urban standards. Perhaps about fitting in somewhere, despite being told that only stupid girls remain in Jämtland.
