Soon after Sandra has given birth to her second child, her boyfriend leaves her for another woman. Sandra’s existence turns into a nightmare that plays out in real time. From across the country, her newly engaged sister Annika tries to be supportive over the phone. At the same time, Annika who is a documentary film maker begins to look at her own relationship with new eyes. How will she herself dare to start a family when she sees that women always carry the heaviest burden and at the same time risk being left without support? In Love you bye, we get to follow the two sisters as they together try to figure out how to tackle life after the break-up. Love you bye is Annika Fredriksson’s feature film debut and the project was pitched during Tempo 2020.
