Theme (Un)truth

During Tempo it’s totally allowed to be (un)true!

In Tempo 2017 we put the concept untruth under the microscope and immerse ourselves in the borderland between truth and untruth. In 2016 the Oxford Dictionary choose »post-truth« to be the word of the year, due to the fact that our era is characterized by not considering objective facts as an important issue anymore. Instead of objective facts it is emotions and personal beliefs that are the center of our attention. We want to explore this further through film, radio, photo and conversations. This involves among other Dream EmpireI Am Not Your Negro, Letters to a serialkiller and not least the seminary Fact and Fiction  where do you draw the line? Click at the sections below to see which films in each sektion that’s connected to the theme.
