  • Cinemateket Filmhistoriens (O)sanningar

During Tempo Cinemateket screens four hybrid films on this year’s theme, (un)truth. When we laugh and fascinates over all the illusions of fiction film documentaries is expected to portray the truth.

But throughout the history of cinema, there has been reasons to question that, since it was known that Robert Flaherty himself implicated fictional elements in his legendary documentary film “Nanook, the cold son” from 1922. Or when in excess films like Orson Welles “F For Fake” and “the Blair Witch Project ‘is seen playing with the documentary preconceived veracity. And then there are the hybrid films. The documentaries that are and vice versa.

Cinematekets benefits card applies as membership cards at the screenings.
