
Screening of the winner of the Tempo Documentary Award “I am Dublin” on Saturday 25th April at Botkyrka, the International Book Fair.
Tempo Documentary Festival is proud to announce the beginning of its tour “Movie Town”. We will screen the winner of the Tempo Documentary Award “I am Dublin” at Botkyrka, the International Book Fair. The screening will be followed by a discussion on boundaries. Director and producer David Aronowitsch and Shahram Khosravi, a social anthropologist from Stockholm University will take part in the conversation.

Botkyrka, the International Book Fair will take place from the 23th to the 25th of April. This year’s theme is “Between escape and transformation”. The event will take place in Hallunda Library and Folkets hus hall.

Conflicts of the city
Every evening during the festival you will be able to sitt down and listen to discussions about the city and its different challenges. Held by Viktoria Walldin (social anthropologist, White) and Dan Hallemar (behind the podcast “Staden”, chief editor for the magazine Arkitektur) we get to meet interesting guests and discuss topics such as: the informal city, bicycle activism, gentrification and urban activism.

Utomhusvisningar under Stockholms broar Under Stockholms broar anordnas flera utomhusvisningar dit alla är välkomna. Under Liljeholmsbron visas ett filmprogram i samarbete med Moderna Museet om den moderna staden. Under Skansbron visas korta dokumentärfilmer under rubriken Staden och jag. Konstprojektet Where Dreams Cross gästar också Tempo och visar konstfilmer under Slussen. Pulp: A Film About Life, Death and Supermarkets won Best Music Film at the NME Music Awards in London last night. Catch the film at Tempo the 6 and the 7th of March, before the screening the 6th there will be a panel about music, class and the city. Don’t miss!

Tempo Documentary Festival is back for the sixteenth time. This year we present a bigger program than ever with over 120 documentaries in all shapes and colours. Be inspired by our lovely trailer that gives you a taste of some of the things you can find in the film section.
