Reflections

Filmmaker Sara Broos invited her mother Karin Broos on holiday during her 60th birthday. Their first trip together as mother and daughter. But instead of coming closer to each other, they went into their own worlds, and nothing was said. Reflections is a personal film about the subconscious transfers, inheritance, projections, reflections and fragments of everyday life and dreams. A film about symbiosis, distance, self- image and shame. About the boundary between art and life and the struggle to hold on to something when everything is in constant change.

Don’t miss the director Sara Broo’s visit to the screening on March 8 at Filmstaden Söder 9!

Tempo tipsar! Emilie Löfgren, redaktör för programtidningen.

I want to tell about my favorite films The Artist and the Thief; an exciting film about how a theft becomes the beginning of an unlikely friendship where they are both forced to face demons from the past. Our Time Machine is a great movie about creative anxiety, a father suffering from dementia who's memories  become increasingly blurred and the director's longing for his own family.
